It Is Not Like There Weren’t ANY National Defense Or Political Fraud News Stories Overnight, Scott…

This. . . well, this is. . . stultifying.

Two very large stories affecting the GOP’s future in America broke yesterday, into the evening hours. Both (taken together) call into question both the party’s chances at mid-terms… and almost certainly doom the their presumptive front runner’s chance at a nomination, going into 2024.

But not a peep, from any of the three. Not even a “whistling past the graveyard” minimization post. Not one.

That is a telling silence. The boys know they are… cooked. Stick a fork in them all. All the hard right old whyte boy racists.

No, Scott offers “a story” on whether yesterday, Mr. Biden might have asked someone where he was expected next, for a staged, “cameras-rolling”, b-roll opportunity. And, a story insulting the incoming head of the National Archives (NARA), since trying to paint her as a partisan (it is thought by idiots like him, and Rep. Hawley, R., at least) might slightly blunt the soon to be unsealed felony 18 USC § 793(e) indictments, for stealing of national defense secret charges — against Tangerine. It won’t… blunt any of them.

How utterly… precious, Scottie.

Out, grinning — aging him — and Hinder-faker only five years here. Heh.

A 1975 Supremes Case, Mentioned Again… Per A Fine Anon. No. 2 Comment.

This is just a reminder that Park and its progeny remain good law.

Finding rat feces in food stuffs, and deciding not to do anything about it, when one is in charge of safety and purity… is a felony. No doubt — specific intent to harm the public is not a required element of that felony. Thus:

…[The federal Food and Drug safety laws provide that] supervisory responsibility reposed in them by a business organization not only a positive duty to seek out and remedy violations, but also, and primarily, a duty to implement measures that will insure that violations will not occur, United States v. Dotterweich, supra; in order to make food distributors “the strictest censors of their merchandise,” Smith v. California, 361 U. S. 147, 361 U. S. 152, the Act punishes “neglect where the law requires care, or inaction where it imposes a duty.” Morissette v. United States, 342 U. S. 246, 342 U. S. 255. Pp. 421 U. S. 670-673….

Great reminder, Anon No. 2… onward, grinning!

Just As We Said, Aileen Cannon’s Goofy Order Is Stayed, While The Appeal Works Its Way Through The Eleventh Circuit.

This means, unsurprisingly, that the FBI and DoJ may continue the investigation, present evidence to the grand jury — and formally indict Donald Trump on a series of 20 year felonies… just as we said.

This is very likely to be all over, before the last brief in the Eleventh Circuit is filed. Trump will be indicted, and fighting a series of up to 101 18 USC § 793(e) charges, that each carry 20 year sentences. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. Here’s that stay order, signed by three Judges; two of whom were appointed by. . . Donald Trump (how’za ’bout them apples!?):

…For our part, we cannot discern why [Donald Trump] would have an individual interest in or need for any of the one-hundred documents with classification markings. Classified documents are marked to show they are classified, for instance, with their classification level. Classified National Security Information, Exec. Order No. 13,526, § 1.6, 3 C.F.R. 298, 301 (2009 Comp.), reprinted in 50 U.S.C. § 3161 app. at 290–301. They are “owned by, produced by or for, or . . . under the control of the United States Government.” Id. § 1.1. And they include information the “unauthorized disclosure [of which] could reasonably be expected to cause identifiable or describable damage to the national security.” Id. § 1.4. For this reason, a person may have access to classified information only if, among other requirements, he “has a need-to-know the information.” Id. § 4.1(a)(3). This requirement pertains equally to former Presidents, unless the current administration, in its discretion, chooses to waive that requirement. Id. § 4.4(3).

[Donald Trump] has not even attempted to show that he has a need to know the information contained in the classified documents. Nor has he established that the current administration has waived that requirement for these documents. And even if he had, that, in and of itself, would not explain why Plaintiff has an individual interest in the classified documents.

[Donald Trump] suggests that he may have declassified these documents when he was President. But the record contains no evidence that any of these records were declassified. And before the special master, [Donald Trump] resisted providing any evidence that he had declassified any of these documents. See Doc. No. 97 at 2–3., Sept. 19, 2022, letter from James M. Trusty, et al., to Special Master Raymond J. Dearie, at 2–3. In any event, at least for these purposes, the declassification argument is a red herring because declassifying an official document would not change its content or render it personal. So even if we assumed that [Donald Trump] did declassify some or all of the documents, that would not explain why he has a personal interest in them….

Prepare to be indicted, Tangerine.

“Wealth And Power”: The Only Pole-Star, By Which Hinderaker Reckons..

There are (as ever) several levels of sophistry… in John’s critiques of what he disingenuously imagines “liberals” think.

Tonight he first offers misleading polls he took (about grade school children) to “establish” that we should all be agin’ fluid notions of gender identity.

Of course, his broad conclusion does not follow from the narrow poll — but it lets him advance his prejudiced views. His view is that “liberals” only ever act to advance their wealth and power over others.

Rather than spend another second on his loony ideas, I’ll close by asking:

Hey Hinderaker, how did we liberals get more wealth and power by ending slavery? By… saying “no more” to 3/5ths of a vote? By the Civil Rights Act of 1964?

Right — only conservatives / racists like him… opposed all of that.

Seems John / and the GOP… are the ones who only act to enhance their mediocre old whyte guys’ wealth and power.

Damn.

In Which… Steve Hayward Complains About The “Old Farts” In Congress. Very Droll.

I won’t repost his chart… but Steve is right, that most of US political power… tends to age in place. YAWN. No news there. [Yep this is… trivia, in the main.]

His complaining that we are now collectively represented by the oldest group of legislators in the history of the nation, has much more to do with how long people live in the 21st Century… than it does to do with being… decrepit.

In fact, in Lincoln’s time, someone in their late 40s might well be near death — nearly blind, mostly-deaf and starting to show unmistakable signs of dementia.

So — as a group, I am willing to wager, without even looking, that these current Congress-critters are the healthiest group, perhaps excepting when the nation was first formed after the Revolution. Those were many a younger man.

Finally — as I’ve done with some handy software, Steve is in NO POSITION to be calling anyone… “old”.

None of these boys are. That is… at upper left, I was only setting the software ahead five years, guys. Five years, only.

So… it is high time for you all to be… a lil’ more… humble.

You three are almost… out of time. Grin.

Out.

Tangerine Made The Gambino Crime Syndicate… Look Like… Dime Store Hoods, Stealing Candy.

To say the breadth of these financial frauds… is breath-taking… doesn’t really do it justice. At right is only a partial screen shot of this chart, of all the ways Trump is alleged to have lied about the value of his properties, either understating what was owed on them, or overstating what they were worth, in order to get ever increasing lines of credit… or conversely, lying about the value, on the low side — to avoid paying his share of his real estate taxes, or NY income taxes.

While he was in no manner as smart as the Gambinos, El Chapo (or Capone, in Chicago)… the sheer scope and audacity of the lies… likely eclipses them all. He may not have had people rubbed out, but the traditional crime families (every one knew) traded in unlawful crafts, from the go — rackets, prostitution and street drugs, mostly under cover of night.

Trump conducted his sprees in broad daylight, in the lobbies — and walnut paneled offices — of world renown banks, and fellow real estate magnates.

He simply lied his way into an empire, and out… of paying his fair share. Go get him, Ms. James!

And, A Second Day Spent Picking A Felony Jury In Brooklyn — US v. Thomas Barrack — Has Ended…

Of course, given his prominence, wealth and close ties to Tangerine… it may take several days yet, of questioning of prospective jurors… to find an impartial 12 and 4 alternates.

The trial may last several weeks in Brooklyn… but it seems highly likely that he will be convicted on at least a few of these felonies.

We say it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. And we may actually see (in this trial) some of the earlier documents, voluntarily handed over on June 2, 2022 at Mar-A-Lago, come up in proving his crimes. We shall see.

We will keep you informed as ever [Latest, most complete background filing by the government on this, here]. Grin….

[U] In News Of The Macabre: COO Of Beyond Meat Allegedly Went Full-On “Hannibal Lecter” In Road Rage Incident…

Updated, 5 PM EDT — The company has suspended him, pending completion of the Arkansas criminal investigation. But when the police finish their work, and he is charged by the DA — the company will fire him — as they’ve already named a replacement — a VP of manufacturing. Game over. End update.

This is pretty dark — even by our standards. In truth, we owe BillyTheKid a H/T for finding it, at one of our other properties. And I am certain, since the stock has fallen from a high of $234, to under $17 as I write this… that he is under tremendous pressure to sell more of the very wildly expensive pea-protein, but engineered to be a substitute for ground beef.

Still — there was an old, and terrible farce of a movie (long before “Silence“), in which a failed bus driver utters the line “you eat one foot, and they call ya’ a cannibal.”

Here’s the reality, though — and it is. . . harrowing (via Bloomberg business):

…Beyond Meat Inc.’s chief operating officer was arrested on Saturday on allegations that he bit a man’s nose during an altercation after a college football game in Fayetteville, Arkansas….

Ramsey was allegedly at a parking garage when a Subaru inched in front of his Bronco, coming into contact with the front tire on the passenger’s side, according to a report by local station KNWA/KFTA….

Ramsey got out of his car and “punched through the back windshield of the Subaru,” according to the report. The Beyond Meat executive allegedly then started punching the owner of the car, who had left the vehicle, and also “bit the owner’s nose, ripping the flesh on the tip.” He also “threatened to kill” the other man, according to the report.

The executive was released Sunday on an $11,085 bond, according to court records….

The riffs here, well… they write themselves. The ferocity of his attack, though. . . seems to point to a very deep seated pathology, inside Ramsey.

So, I don’t see how a beef replacement company can keep him in the role of Chief Operating Officer… if the dental evidence matches the victim’s… injuries. I just… don’t.

Smiling, just the same….

Nah, Steve H. — Here Is What America REALLY Thinks About It…

Hayward, preposterously claims that the no. one issue is… limitless immigration. Never mind that all over America, lower paying jobs are going unfilled. Never mind that a big part of inflation is the fact that employers are having to pay at least a living wage for talent.

These “unfilled” jobs, in manual labor, and the service industries… previously were staffed in large part by recent American arrivals… some without papers, as well.

But to hear Steve tell it, Americans are only too happy to pay $11 for a dozen eggs, and $28 for a steak… (both, in their local grocery), and… over $5/gallon for gas… so long as no one without papers ever again touches the supply chain.

Uh-huh.

November 2022 will reveal that felonies by sitting governors (and Tangerine former guys)… are disqualifying, Steve.

Cheers. [Oh — and our gas will get cheaper too, if we accept that we need more immigration — documented, or not so.]

How Utterly Precious! The GOP Governors File A Brief — In Stolen Top Secret Docs Case…

The only point these goofy MAGA governors attempt to make, in an amicus filing (past the deadline time, for a ruling on a stay) in the Eleventh Circuit, is that they (the oligarchs, of MAGA states) cannot trust(!)… the federal government. [I link it only to preserve a record — and to invite biting ridicule — of these lunatics.]

Not any law — not even an argument to ignore what all agree is controlling federal law. [These are the same guys using law enforcement to lie to detainees awaiting hearings, to make them miss their hearings, so the same law enforcement officers may more easily deport them. Charming.]

No… they just say, in effect — “Hey, as in the 2020 election, as in Texas v. US and as in a dozen other cases Tangerine has LOST… we need a “Mulligan“….”

A do over, if you will. Cuz’ we think — but cannot prove — that some “swamp” creature is conspiring to get us….

Wow.

P R E C I O U S.

Out.
