…by advocating that Twitter itself be… dismantled. Banned. Hushed. Gagged.
Forgetting for a moment that this cuts against nearly 50 years of his writings about free expression — even expression he doesn’t always agree with — he needs to be thinking in more… practical terms:
WHAT ON EARTH WILL KEEP TRUMP… AWAKE & ALIVE — WITHOUT IT?
By my count, Mr. Trump is averaging roughly 60 tweets per morning, for the last few months… except when he is… golfing. Which is 193 days, and growing almost daily, in his first two years in office. [After he complained about “lazy” Mr. Obama golfing, when on the taxpayers’ dime — once a quarter. It was, he felt, too often. But I digress.]
John seems to forget that Trump will almost certainly lick all the lamination and varnish off the Resolute Desk, if he can’t use his wide-open, non encrypted iPhone app, to Tweet his minute-by-minute demented ravings on… [at the moment] how China tariffs have never worked. 
And how American businesses don’t ever actually get paid, when China is subject to Trump’s sky-high tariffs.
John will have a huge baby-sitting problem, if Twitter goes buh-bye.
But let us also note for the record that Trump has turned Hinderaker into… a book-burner.
All because one account he favors was excluded from the private social club called Twitter. I will guaranty you that John is, or has been, a member of an exclusionary private social- or country- [golf] club. And Trump is today — he owns several.
Yet overnight, John calls for the banning of a club [called Twitter] because it had the temerity to suspend [exactly as specified in its terms of free service] the account of a psychologist whose writings classify “cross-biological birth-gender identification” as a mild mental disorder. I am not entirely sure that the psychologist’s views, without more, are pure hate speech — but I don’t like that idea.
What I am sure about… is that John regularly lustily supports avowed neo-Nazis and their hate speech, and alt-right thuggery [and has written glowingly about what turned out to be Russian bot accounts pretending to be affiliated with BLM.] And he hasn’t ever even acknowledged [let alone apologized for] these awful, multi-year, repeated… lies.
So forgive me if I ignore his pearl-clutching here.
