To The Silly, Then… Trump Wants National IDs; John Obliges.

Whopper-John-Cigs-Booze-2018 In a sublimely ridiculous defense of dear leader, Mr. Hinderaker today takes the AP to task for noting Trump’s basic unfamiliarity with how one actually buys groceries. [That’s an act he hasn’t undertaken, for himself, in likely more than a half century. About that much, John is almost certainly right. Has John?]

But the point of this morning-after Tampa-looney rally, is that 45 believes a national ID card is a good idea, because we all “need one anyway“.

[No, he needs that database — so he can work to exclude voters based on race.]

Q.: do all “his people…” only buy their groceries in liquor and gun shops, with the smokes — is that why we see they “don’t care” about a national ID requirement? I wonder.

I think its more a white nationalism “us, v. them” mentality, myself.

I Want To Note For The Record: John Has Failed — To Call 45 Out — Re Helsinki Disaster.

John… it wasn’t “one judge, sitting in Hawaii” — it turns out there were four separate federal district court judges who approved the Carter Page FISA apps — and renewals of the same.

For the record, two were women. None were sitting in Hawaii. None were ever registered as Democrats. All were and are GOP.

The FOUR able federal judges who signed off on the Carter Page FISA applications are Rosemary Collyer, Michael Mosman, Anne Conway, and Raymond Dearie — appointed by Bush 43, Bush 43, Bush 41 and Reagan, respectively. But those FACTS don’t matter to John’s nonsensical ravings, of Saturday night. Nope. He was… on a… rant. T’Hell with facts.

In any event — I came back to post here, on a Sunday night… primarily to note that his brother, Paul has (by Powerline’s milquetoast  standards, twice) called the Helsinki disaster by its name. As has Scott. And Steve.

John, criticizing the… Cheat-o-lini’s Helsinki remarks? Crickets. Nope. Nada. Nuthin’ but love.

Through Sunday night, he still can’t even muster the courage to call it as Scott did — the low point in 45’s presidency. [And that is saying a sh!t-ton — given this infant terrible at 1600 Penn.]

Which set me to thinking: does John also have a Russian handler? Is he an RU asset?

If so, John:  “Сделаем Америку снова великой!”

Whopper-Hind-Trump-2016 I must add a coda — as we approach the moment when 45 sees the end of his Der Kaiser’s reign.

After two or three independent federal judges, and at least three Republican members of the DoJ and US Attorneys’ offices (at least two of them Trump appointees) reviewed actual evidence of criminal conduct still ongoing, a no knock warrant was granted to search and seize items from Mr. Cohen’s home, office and hotel.

John preposterously blames a Democratic conspiracy.

But that’s not JUST preposterous. No, it is far worse — it is unpatriotic. Dare I say it? He… hates… America. [A spoof of the far right’s regular scree against progressive ideas.] Why? Well…

It harms the Republic. It weakens our democracy. It invites lawlessness.

And it is proof that John has broken his oath — to support the rule of law — as an officer of the courts.

Meet the end of your career as a credible political voice, all in one post — John.

I Think It Is (Past) Time To Tune John OUT, Entirely…

Whopperline-Hinderaker-MLK-50Years-On-2018Mr. Hinderaker has written literally dozens of pages of excrement-laden nonsense, mostly (it would seem) to deflect, and distract from the crime spree his boy 45 is still underway bumbling his way through, in and around DC….

Here is but one (the most recent) such piece of drivel.

That is not remotely the least sensible one he’s put out , in the weeks I’ve been away from here — and I won’t link to more lunacy, than that. Why? Well…

You see, here, on the eve of a half-century passing, deprived by the cowardice of an assassin’s high-powered rifle (i.e., without the ongoing benefit of) the wisdom that would have been Dr. King, in his later years… I will assume (rightly, though I think) that he would tell me to “just forget” John….

Life-MLK-WFS-NAACP-1966He’d say we should concentrate on people of good will, who are ill-informed. [Unlike John who sanctimoniously takes NPR to task with an error-riddled lecture on Christian theology, yet reads Christ’s social gospel, and the beatitudes, entirely out of his order of worship, ministry and works — day in, and day out. For almost all of his adult life, now.]

So (I think) the Rev. ML King, Jr. would have said of Mr. Hinderaker: “let him go.”

Focus now, on his next generation — his nearly-grown children. They may still be taught some useful things. John is just too old, embittered and… decrepit, actually — to expect, or await — any real change in outlook.

And that is a promise I intend to keep (to myself) — as to his eldest, for certain — who has decided she will write some… political junk.

And junk… it is.

But this nearly two-decades long blog project will fall silent, from now until 2020 — in all likelihood.

A comment then, from his blog — left on February 18, 2018:

And I would submit that history will judge these apologists — for the largest criminally indicted conspiracy inside the Executive Branch in US history…. rather dimly.

So it goes, Johnny — so it goes. But really — do keep on apologizing for a guy who, at 72, tells us he would rush in unarmed, to face AR-15 fire — when he took five bone spur deferrals, from even being eligible for Vietnam (as a very healthy, virile and strong young man — by his own account, of course)… pathetic.  Truly.

So Much For Mr. Hinderaker’s “Bona Fides” — As A Deficit Hawk…

Whopper-Line-Trump-Deficits-2018On and off over the eight years of the Obama Administration, Mr.  Hinderaker wrote several opinion pieces, on his displeausre with Mr. Obama, for deficit spending — each much like this one. But that one most succinctly states his (now clearly unbelievable) case — and most cogently proves John is a pure hypocrite. [I could cite the others, but it is all rather tedious at this point.]

Now… Donald “Big Cheeto” Trump’s “infrastructure killing plan” — just released — actually cuts more from infrastructure spending than it adds to it. Let that sink in… but that is not even the main event, here — nope.

If that weren’t enough — Rumpf promised not to run more than a $400 billion deficit, while campaigning in 2016. Nope. He won’t — he’ll run one of more than seventeen-times that. Trump is on pace (under his mostly-whimsical and yet mean spirited plans) to run a $7 TRILLION deficit, in total — far eclipsing all of Mr. Obama’s deficits, combined.

Paging… John? John?! [Bueller… Bueller…?]

What, Johnny? No cartoon of 45 putting your children’s’ future on a credit card — with punishing interest rates?! Here — let me help you out: I’ll oblige, above right. [Fair use for political commentary (not for profit) claimed. Just to pre-emptively answer Mr. Ramirez and Johnny — there will be no DMCA take down, here.]

Nope. From Johnny: only silence — and occasional faint praise for rule cutting.

Whopper-Paul-John-Charlottesville-2017As late as this morning, on Friday the 12th, John is still saying the claim of 45’s remarks is dubious because the source was/is anonymous.

[I answered the substance — such as it was — of Hinderaker’s vile “race-theory” apologists’ stance last night — right on his site. He deleted it. I did call the thing by its name. I’ll post it below this one, after the slug line, to preserve the record.]

That claim by John is patently false — and has been demonstrably so for… 20 hours. And SENATOR Dick Durbin (D), out of Illinois, has been ON RECORD since last night (as were/are several others present, including Republican Sen. Jeff Flake)… that those were Trump’s exact words — and used repeatedly. No slip of the tongue.

I am through with these apologists for a racist small “p” president. He and Mr. Hinderaker… deserve each other.

Let’s get it done, Mr. Mueller — we need him escorted off the property (like Ms. Manigault before him) — at 1600 Penn, and soon.

What Mr. Hinderaker Gets Wrong — By Blindly Channeling Andrew McCarthy…

whopperlie-hinderaker-2017The excellent Marcy Wheeler, at EmptyWheel, has this well in hand. Do go read it all. In other words, John Hinderaker’s latest is quite a bit of a… mess, actually.

That is because he cannot read Mr. McCarthy with a critical eye, and independent skepticism.

I’ll make it short, as Christmas Eve approaches — and the lustrous night-snows are already flying here (and my family awaits at the fireplace, with cocoa and marshmallows and Quincy Jones’ Soulful Messiah)….

Ahem. One cannot take McCarthy seriously, if one cannot address these “inconvenient truths” satisfactorily:

“…McCarthy ignores that longtime Trump associate Felix Sater was brokering deals with Russian oligarchs that he believed would get Trump elected in 2015. McCarthy ignores the likelihood George Papadopoulos warned the campaign of stolen emails, referred to as “dirt on Hillary,” even before the Democrats knew about any stolen emails. He ignores that Don Jr took a meeting (with Fusion associate Rinat Akhmetshin) based on a promise of dirt.

….He ignores that the broker behind the meeting, Rob Goldstone, found it eerie that stolen emails were released right after the meeting. McCarthy ignores that the substance of the meeting — sanctions relief — is precisely what Flynn was ordered to broker even before Trump was inaugurated, which Flynn is now explaining in depth in part because Jared Kushner withheld information that might have exonerated Flynn’s actions.

That is, McCarthy ignores that there’s a great deal of evidence, even in the public record, that Trump welcomed the release of stolen Hillary emails in a meeting at which sanctions were discussed, and that Trump promised to give Russia sanctions relief even before he was inaugurated….”

And… one cannot refute any of that, for it is established fact. Thanks, Marcy.

In sum John, Andrew’s doesn’t withstand careful examination.

Mr. Mueller will get Mr. Trump. No doubt, now. And those $285 million (minimum) of Deutsche Bank loans may well be the proof — allegedly a ham-handed conduit from Russia to Kushner… to Trump.

There you have it. And my cocoa is waiting. To all of good will, good-night!

Proper Use Of The Adjective “Allegedly” — Dear John, Do Take Heed.

Whopperline-Hinderaker-Libels-BLM-2017A widely-regarded as honest, and earnest, Black Lives Matter activist recently won some $100,000 — in his defense of a personal injury case — against a police officer who brought that personal injury suit in New York, claiming falsely (it seems) that the activist was responsible for the policeman’s injuries… at a BLM rally (i.e., the officer’s on the job alleged injury). The activist won a defense verdict, and about $100,000 in costs and legal fees from the officer, due to the ALLEGEDLY baseless policeman’s filing. [Note that  all caps adjective, John.]

Then, the Faux News bobble-head named Jeanine Pirro went on air and defamed the BLM activist. She omitted the adjective “allegedly” from her plainly disparaging (and purportedly factual — not opinion) remarks about the activist, even after he had secured a win in court, against the cop’s ALLEGEDLY baseless claim.

Now… Confidential to John Hinderaker: You probably ought to issue a correction, and an apology for this post of yours, from September 29, 2017, stating flatly — without any factual basis therefor — that Russian hackers worked “on behalf of” BLM, thus:

“…the largest volume of Russian “meddling” was on behalf of Black Lives Matter [sic]….”

“On behalf of” at law, according to Black’s implies an agency relationship — i.e., that the BLM movement was the principal and the Russian hackers were the agents of that principal. There has been not a shred of proof of that notion, anywhere in any court case, or in newspaper of good reputation, for that matter.

In addition, John personally offers not a scintilla of proof for that notion (except to claim that an old photo allegedly used by the Russians glorifies the 1960s Black Panther movement — i.e., not BLM). But John conflates all of them — as is his usual way, on racial matters. Given recent developments in the Mueller probe, John’s is likely  defamatory per se, as to the reputations of the leaders of BLM. You see, these are now felonies we are talking about, John (ask former Gen. Flynn). See the statement of offense, and the related plea agreement.

I think I’ll give that activist a call… smile.

 

Mr. Hinderaker Pretends Not To See A Clearly INTENTIONAL “Soft One Count” Deal — Hilarious.

Whopperline-Final-Bobby-Three-Sticks-2017Well — he really has no choice. His guy is toast.

And yet he has to put on a brave face, now — right before Christmas.

Mr. Hinderaker well knows that this is a “intentionally soft” one count charge. His years as a lawyer will not let him lie openly to himself — but doing so to, and for… his readership: well, that’s easy, for John. It’s been his lap poodle approach to 45, since about mid-2016. So he preposterously pretends he’s never seen a “singing canary” plea deal before in his life.

The guilty plea is “soft”, precisely because Flynn has FLIPPED. And so, the things NOT said in the plea deal are the ones that will now bury 45. And Flynn is singing. That much is certain.

Any sentient person also by now well-knows that former Gen. Flynn — knowing 45’s proclivity for micromanagement (and rage when he not followed to the letter) — absolutely was following 45’s orders. Either Donnie Jr. was the “PTT official” listed this morning, or Kushner was. Either way, they will now dime 45 out.

None of them will take a fall for 45.

As felonies go (as I’ve long said), the Logan Act is the first and insurmountable problem, now: 45 was not yet President when Flynn did what he did (and lied about it to the FBI). Trump using Flynn to influence (i.e., dampen) official Russian repercussions, and responses, to then still serving President Obama’s sanctions… is unlawful. Criminal. Since 1799-1803. And that’s before we get to any proof of 45’s trying to influence Comey’s investigation.

All of this is ALSO before we get to the financial why (IMHO): why Trump allows Russia to do whatever it pleases. Which is also why 45 won’t show his finances. 45 will be driven from office. Mueller already has 45’s financial records. That is now a near certainty. And they will be 45’s undoing (IMHO).

And all of 45’s protestations now look… glaringly false. 45 has boldly lied to the American people — about a matter of national security.

And of course, Mr. Hinderaker well knows how awful this is for 45’s chances of retaining his office. John is simply “whistling as he walks past the graveyard“, this Friday.
