“Sloth” Steve H…. Is “Slower” On The Uptake, Than Most…

As irony would have it, in a post of epic failure — the aim of which (it seems) was to mock Mr. Biden, for being “slow”… Steve H. suggests tonight that Joe… cannot muster the energy… to make a tour of Kenosha (an unfortunate, and veiled reference to Trump’s Lie-A-Thon / Campaign propaganda / race-baiting video, shot there yesterday)….

And that’s… about just eight hours behind British newspapers reporting that the Bidens (Jill and Joe) are meeting the remaining (unshot by police) Blakes, in Kenosha tomorrow… by invitation. [Something no responsible leader had/has extended to Trump — there.]

Hey Steve — I’ll post the video in near real time, as I shoot it — on Twitter.

You might want to check with your office, or the news outlets, before you write about this… again.

Cheers!

Out.

INVITED — INVITED! — By Jacob’s Blake’s Father, Jill And Joe Biden Will Meet With The Community In Kenosha…

Well — I may be back on the road tomorrow morning, it seems. But that is the good news.

The Bidens will sit down with the Blakes, in Kenosha. From the Daily Mail (UK), this afternoon:

…Biden’s campaign has already reached out to Jacob Blake’s family and plans to meet with them Thursday when he travels to Kenosha with his wife, Jill Biden, the Blake family told DailyMail.com.

‘Biden’s contacted the family,’ said Jason Blake, Blake’s uncle. ‘They’ve had a phone conversation with my brother. I’m sure they’re going to make their way to meet with my family.’

‘We want someone in the White House that will unite the whole country,’ he added.

‘We believe Biden is trying to united all Americans. I’m grateful to be able to meet him. I’m going to demand from him what we demand from anyone else – that there be legislation and laws protecting African Americans’ safety and well being and that we have economic opportunity to build up our own communities….‘

‘We appreciate the manner and approach his campaign are taking,’ he continued….

Dear Dotard Trump — watch and learn — here is what real leadership does. It listens — it does not just rush out, and issue mostly-false propaganda commercials. Joe won’t — as Trump did — step in front, and “answer a question” on systemic police racism, addressed by the media to two Black clergy members, in Kenosha yesterday. Trump wouldn’t let them answer. Disgusting — all… a prop show, there.

Joe will listen. Trump will not. End of story.

Next Appeals Court Dates, In Seeing Mazars’ Subpoenaed Trump Documents… Y A W N.

So… we are likely nearing the point where we won’t see Trump’s financials in Cy Vance’s office, before November 3. That’s not optimal, but it is okay — as the jail door will swing wide open, once he is voted from office by a margin of over 5 million votes.

Much of the MSM is neglecting to mention that this still means an “expedited decision” — on the merits. And I realize that litigation’s pace seems… glacial, to most people who don’t do it for a living. But now you know:

…The merits argument of the appeal will be held on September 25, 2020 at 10:00 am. In consultation with the parties, the following briefing scheduled is set: Appellant’s brief is due September 11, 2020 at 5:00 pm; Appellees’ brief is due September 21, 2020 at 5:00 pm; Appellant’s reply brief is due September 24, 2020 at noon….

Onward. Headed to Wisconsin again in the morning, grinning….

[O/T] Hmm… A Mid-Sized Black Hole — First One Ever Detected — At Vanderbilt University… Smile.

We decided to jump to deep interstellar space, for inspiration this fine morning. Away from the subtle but discernible sadness… that hangs over Kenosha… nearly six billion light years, off into the darkness, then:

An multi-national team of researchers, using very large (underground) gravity wave detectors in upper Washington state, and lower Louisiana, as well as across the pond, in Italy, have confirmed the existence of a “mid-sized” black hole — something to this point nowhere else detected in the known Universe. Here’s the bit:

…An international team of astronomers working with the Laser Interferometry Gravitational Wave Observatory Scientific Collaboration (LSC) and the Virgo Collaboration announced on Wednesday that they have, for the first time in history, directly observed the gravitational waves generated by the formation of an intermediate-mass black hole (IMBH) — one with 142 times the mass of our local star. The team utilized the two LIGO sensors in America as well as the third located in Italy to make the observation. They have dubbed the gravitational wave, GW190521.

As Vanderbilt University research assistant professor, Dr. Karam Jani, explained to Engadget, the signal itself was minuscule — a mere four squiggly lines lasting just a tenth of a second — but its implications for our understanding of the cosmos are immense. “We were able to confirm that this came from a collision of two black holes,” Jani said. “Both of those are extremely massive; something that we know that stars cannot make.”

The individual black holes weighed roughly 85 and 65 times the mass of the sun, respectively. Both are beyond the theoretical weight limit of collapsars. When they smashed together six billion years ago in a region of space 5 gigaparsecs away, they released “eight solar masses of energy” in the form of a gravitational wave and gave birth to the even more massive IMBH that the team detected, according to a Vanderbilt press release….

We remain haunted by these gravitational raindrops — falling silently, into a flat pond — ones that ripple through eternity’s serene nights… smile.

In Kenosha, On 09.01.20: Only A Handful Of Trumpers.

Just some real people earnestly talking to one another. That’s video of conversations I monitored, as an ACLU observer, while Trump was across the street, getting a “briefing”. Just real talk — like real, thoughtful Americans — BLM, teaching some Trumpers, today, in Kenosha. . . unlike the garbage commercial Trump is running, about it all.

[If link gets moved or deleted, this should work:]
https://twitter.com/ThreeDayCondor/status/1300949428388474883?s=20

What I saw, later, near where Jacob Blake was shot:

…More, tonight — but A very docile crowd, as BLM supporters outnumbered Trumpers about 20-1 — at most street corners. Moreover, the stupidly excessive display of military hardware probably also… quieted the red-necks….

John Just Asked “How Can Biden Be Elected?” W A T C H:

So glad you asked, John. Here’s how (see above!) — and note that your guy almost fell over sideways, at the top of the stairs (on video), at his NH appearance on this past Saturday. Check how my guy moves — and speaks.

Your guy?

Mostly immobile — incontinent; and more and more… doddering (again, on video).

So, to answer Mr. Hinderaker, directly — as to “the most merciful course…” [as to his chosen candidate] it would be to allow Mr. Trump (once convicted, of the felonies he has clearly committed) to be placed in a club fed facility, upstate NY — for a term of years not to exceed ten — for his felonies. I would say mercy dictates… that he not be placed in the general population, inside someplace like FCI Allenwood Medium, even though his offenses qualify him for a more secure facility.

Here endeth the lesson.

Trump Lies — Says He Spoke To Blake’s “Family Pastor”. He Did Not. They Have No Family Pastor.

Trump will meet with the police union in Kenosha — but that may be about it.

I now wonder whether he will show up, at all. The Governor, Lt. Governor and Kenosha’s Mayor have all asked him to stay away. Here’s the latest, per Jim Acosta:

…Blake’s father told Acosta his family doesn’t have a pastor. White House senior communications adviser Ben Williamson later tweeted that Trump was referring to the pastor of the younger Blake’s mother….

“I’m not going to play politics. This is my son’s life we’re talking about,” Blake Sr. told Acosta….

Justin Blake, James Blake’s uncle, told CNN that Jacob Blake’s father “has no interest in speaking with President Trump.” His only interest at the moment, Justin Blake said, is his son’s well-being and getting justice.

“President Trump is a racist who stokes racial tensions. He has been stirring racial tensions since he got in the White House. Why, as Jacob’s uncle, would I want to talk to him? Our focus is on Jacob and healing the community,” Justin Blake said, adding that he hasn’t spoken with Jacob Blake’s mother about speaking with Trump….

Trump is… a despicably lost soul. And I will be there, tomorrow — whatever happens. Trump — or no. Onward.

Gosh, Steve — Was This… An Attempt At… SATIRE?!

Yes, everything Steve H. writes skews toward the trivial — so perhaps I ought to just ignore it — but this one… is just. so. precious:

“…Anybody remember the 1980s Isuzu auto TV pitchman “Joe Isuzu”? Wikipedia recalls him as “a pathological liar who made outrageous and overinflated claims about Isuzu’s cars,” which describes a lot of [Donald Trump]’s boasts about himself. Beyond just [Trump], I think the whole [GOP] has a “Joe Isuzu problem” when it comes to talking sensibly about… [every single issue of the day]….”

In case you miss my meaning, Steve feels his candidate is possessed of greater… veracity than mine. Erh… okay… good luck with that, Steve.

I can — without any lasting damage to my candidates’ standing — (ahead nearly 70-30 on probability of election) safely concede that Joe has occasionally stretched the truth. So has Harris. But… good gracious, Steve-O — if truthfulness is the measure of a candidate… your guy is in a tiny rowboat — amid the deep, crashing, frigid blue waves of the North Atlantic in early March… this is just silly. Said another way:

Me? I love a high hangin’ curve, myself — so I’ll take this one… yard:

His guy claims raking forest floors stops forest fires. He thinks about… nuking the hurricanes, to stop them. About buying Greenland. About staring at an eclipse. “Water-bombing” the then burning Notre Dame cathedral.

Steve’s guy claims oleander-extract (a proven plant-based-cardiac-toxin) is a COVID cure — after his “MyPillow” major donor became a board member of the company hawking that non-FDA filed faux home remedy. And that’s after he touted, without evidence, an old malaria drug (one now FDA-withdrawn, since it caused excess mortality in COVID-19 patients in the VA Hospital in Virginia — that’s right, he was advocating for a drug that was killing veterans). His guy seriously claims injecting bleach might work. “Let’s test that“, he says.

In sum, his guy accepts zero responsibility for managing a pandemic. His guy lies about, and insults everyone who disagrees with him — but saves deeply pungent doses of particularly unhinged venom for… women [that’s the unprovoked rage, rising — many a socio-pathological / demented mind experiences… this]. But he has no filter, so he just blurts it out.

What else? Oh. Yeah. His guy eats hamburders, while confeveing. His guy lies about… term limits for presidents. His guy can’t walk a 7 per cent graded ramp, with sandpaper stripes on it, safely. His guy has to drink water with two hands, often missing his mouth. His guy needs several tries to pronounce Thailand. His guy claims there’s an African nation called… Nambia.

His guy tried to “black shaprie LIE his way out” of not knowing that a hurricane was not going to hit Alabama, because he couldn’t recognize Alabama — on a map.

His guy two weeks ago vainly tried to excoriate New Zealand on its “COVID spike”. That was… nine people. LIAR.

Nine. Today alone, over 1,100 people died in the United States, from it. But Trump is certain its better to fault others. No demented thinking, there.

His guy thinks Michelle Obama quoting 150,000 dead from COVID-19 proves she’s “doing poorly”, because… wait for it — we are actually nearly at 181,000 dead. He was grinning ear to ear, triumphantly as he pointed out her “error” — and his bigly win. [That Trump…he sure is winning, again.]

He told us, in a prepared speech, on July 4, 2019, that there were aircraft carriers… at Valley Forge. He does a thousand cruel things a day — mostly in reaction to Fox television he watches obsessively.

Just like a grandpa yelling at those damn kids to get off his lawn.

There are probably 5,000 or more examples like the above (including thinking he can ban an internet app, as a technical matter. It is technically… impossible, unless he decides to nationalize the internet — which is what 20 to 40 million nodes, and hundreds of millions more, outside US reach?).

Yes there are certainly thousands more examples. But my eyes are getting tired, just proof-reading them — so let’s just say… Trump… IS… JOE ISUZU.

He won’t even tell the truth about being deathly afraid of… stairs and ramps — and wearing pull-up diapers, due to the vast amounts of crushed, snorted Adderall he injests — all of which causes him to suffer unpredictable bouts of… explosive diarrhea.

Hilarious. Or… disgusting, actually.

Bill Barr — Unable To Read Federal Statutes. Y A W N. Flynn Is NOT In The Clear.

As predicted — but good news for those of us who still believe in the notions of ordered liberty, and the rule of law, not men — which, at least are sill said… to underpin… our founding documents.

Onward this case wends… now Judge Sullivan may ask about the motives behind Mr. Barr’s placing his thumb on the scales of justice, here.

…As to Petitioner’s first two requests — to compel the immediate grant of the Government’s motion, and to vacate the District Court’s appointment of amicus — Petitioner has not established that he has “no other adequate means to attain the relief he desires.” Cheney v. U.S. Dist. Court for D.C., 542 U.S. 367, 380 (2004) (quoting Kerr v. U.S. Dist. Court for N. Dist. of Cal., 426 U.S. 394, 403 (1976)). We also decline to mandate that the case be reassigned to a different district judge, because Petitioner has not established a clear and indisputable right to reassignment. See id. at 381. We therefore deny the Petition….

A petition for a writ of mandamus “may never be employed as a substitute for appeal.” Will v. United States, 389 U.S. 90, 97 (1967); see also Roche v. Evaporated Milk Ass’n, 319 U.S. 21, 26 (1943) (“[Mandamus] may not appropriately be used merely as a substitute for the appeal procedure prescribed by the statute.”). The writ is a “potent weapon[],” “a drastic and extraordinary remedy reserved for really extraordinary causes.” Cheney, 542 U.S. at 380 (citations and internal quotation marks omitted). “[T]he writ cannot be used ‘to actually control the decision of the trial court,’” Platt v. Minn. Mining & Mfg. Co., 376 U.S. 240, 245 (1964) (quoting Bankers Life & Cas. Co. v. Holland, 346 U.S. 379, 383 (1953)), because “[a]s an appellate court, we are a court of review, not of first view,” Capitol Servs. Mgmt., Inc. v. Vesta Corp., 933 F.3d 784, 789 (D.C. Cir. 2019) (quoting Cutter v. Wilkinson, 544 U.S. 709, 718 n.7 (2005))….

[Do read Judge Rao’s 31 page dissent (to a 17 page 8-2 majority opinion) — for comic relief, if you like.] Grinning, ear to ear, now as I busily prep and pack my Kenosha emergency riot / uprisings-countermeasures “go bag”, for tomorrow. Of course, no weapons — no firearms — ever. But multiple water-bottles, BHO 44 tee shirts, polos and BLM masks — and my BLM placards, from my front lawn, now all at the ready (as well as bail bonds — and appearance forms, should the need arise)…. Onward.
