So… all Betsy Stauffer confirms this morning… is… that she is a… know nuthin’.

A malevolent know-nuthin’, at that. [Even if we take her false claims as true, she cannot point to one thing she or Hinderaker could have done differently, to improve outcomes. But we can, to be certain.]

She is (like Hinderaker, before her — as we showed yesterday) utterly unaware that whether it came from a lab or the wild… the over 1 million US deaths were due to Tangerine’s foot dragging, and utter disdain for real science.

But now that it is clear that Trump and Betsy and John did worse than the nation did a century earlier (without a vaccine candidate) — in the Spanish Flu of 1918 — far worse, she must blame someone… anyone.

Anyone but Trump.

Well… Scott is precious again this morning. Back on the Twitter story. So… lost, is he.

As EmptyWheel pointed out, this morning — the frothy far right once used to care about businesses under SEC consent decrees making their customers’ private details available to “journalists” — for private political retribution… as something the government ought not allow.

But Scott Johnson cannot even keep track of the players, here — let alone what constitutionally protected interests are actually in play.

Here’s EW — Scott, sit down and learn, at her feet, from a cogent review of these goofy hearings:

Team Tangerine Again Tries To Flim-Flam The Courts, In Two Jurisdictions — With Prevaricating Delay Tactics. Y A W N.

I note it here not because it is in any manner surprising — but because in civil courts, like these — this is often… lethal.

Team Tangerine is lying in two courts at once, about civil cases that have been pending for six and seven years. And now he is going to claim that his need to run for preznit is more important that answering in the courts, for his dishonesty. This will be droll. Here’s the latest letter cross-filed in New York state court:

…We write with respect to the Court’s December 13, 2022 Order, ECF 507, which set a “firm” trial date of January 29, 2024 in this action, to bring to the Court’s attention recent filings by Defendants in People of the State of New York v. Donald J. Trump, et al., Index No. 452564/2022 (Sup. Ct. N.Y. Cnty.) (the “NYAG Case”), that not only seek to delay the trial in that case, but also propose a new schedule that (believe it or not) would appear to conflict with the firm trial date set by this Court, a date that was set based on Defendants’ representations and assurances — indeed, at their request….

This is… just… deplorable conduct by the former “leader” of the free world. Not surprising. Just… disgusting. Out.

This morning, is lecturing Fox News and Rupert Murdoch… about the fact that Tucker Carlson (among many others on that network) lies incessantly about what he really thinks of Trump.

They all hate him.

And Paul absolutely confirms that he thinks Trump is deeply dishonest.

Yet — like Fox, Paul Mirengoff held his fire (with only tiny little ginger exceptions) for five years or more.

So — Paul, in what way did that serve your party? Your nation?

R-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-ght. It did not.

So do… just shut the f*ck up.

Hinderaker Is Back To COVID-19 Nonsense / Non-Sequiturs…

Just for the purpose of proving the obvious: for a moment, let’s humor the senile Hinderaker, in his fantasy: let’s assume he could prove that the virus was an inadvertent escape from a Chinese lab.

Those are his words.

How would he have handled the pandemic crisis differently? Note that he and Trump did no better that the nation did a century ago, in the Spanish flu of 1918.

In fact, since we had a vaccine — he did considerably worse.

Hinderaker said the dying would be over at around 30,000… just a normal bad flu season he said. In the end, more than a million people died in the US alone.

Boy, was he ever a… malevolent idiot. But knowing that it came from a lab would NOT have reduced the vaccine’s effectiveness — no, the only thing that delayed our response… was Trump.

Trump — with his inject bleach, and take horse de-wormer advice.

So — this will likely be the last I’ll mention of Hinderaker’s inability to understand basic pandemic biology. [He just wishes to assuage his guilt — over his deadly wrong advice over the Summer of 2020.]

He has truly lost whatever little sense he ever had, on the topic.

We must be nearing the end of the “fantasy tour” on 01.06.21 there.

I say so, because Scott Johnson has this morning — ever so gingerly — begun to dissent from his fellow ideologues… as to Tucker’s footage claims.

So, as I likely drop the subject (I am sick to death of their malevolence) — I want to make it graphic, and plain: not one of them has even uttered her name. Not one.

Not Scott.

Not Betsy.

Not John.

Not Tucker.

F*ck the QAnon Shaman, you warped codgers — please explain what was patriotic about leading a clearly mentally disturbed woman (ex-USAF) inside the transom, and then the mob bodily boosting her through a glass pane, after an officer, pistol drawn and cocked, ordered her to stand down or be shot?

Her death is called a felony murder, at law — and every single rioter in that hallway at that moment may be quite properly charged with her murder.

Not that the officer murdered her — his shoot was righteous. No, the mob killed her. That is black letter law. Yes, she’s responsible for disobeying an order — since she’s ex-military, afterall… but not one of these ass-hats will cop to the notion that the Tangerine MAGA surge (an insurrection) got over 100 officers injured, and was the proximate cause of Ashi Babbitt’s death — “suicide by cop”.

In my book, that makes each of these lies not just libelous — but also… traitorous.

Hayward just quoted Saint Ronnie, here on the fortieth year, to the day. I’ll point out that the Powerline boys cannot see themselves, for themselves — in his long dead and over the top remarks.

But I sure see them — in his closing quote from CS Lewis:

Yep. I am out of patience with her damnable lies.

She now wants to argue that police officers’ de-escalation of “the QAnon Shaman” Chansley antics were some form of proof that the charges against him were… unjust — and that he had been denied his Brady material.

Except that his very capable, experienced criminal defense lawyers agreed to a plea involving 41 months of jail time, after seeing all the Brady material. And he admitted he was committing felonies — by obstructing an official proceeding, while trespassing. Damn.

She also bemoans the fact that her own party’s MAGA wing leadership refused to participate in its legislative / investigative duties, as an official matter. She blames the majority for getting the truth.

She then goes on to laud Tucker, who claims it was not a deadly insurrection.

Personally, Betsy — I think Ashli Babbitt’s mom might have a few words for you — and Tucker, and that stinkbug Hinderaker.

But the one you will really need to answer to… is your creator (whom- or what-ever you may believe that to be).
