Hmm. Why, Paul?! Because… It Came From Trump’s OWN MOUTH! Idiots.

This morning, apparently behind his ‘paywall’ (whatever that might be) — Mr. Mirengoff sets out his view of the “whys” behind what he calls “journalists” pushing a Trump-Russia collusion story.

Y A W N.

The why is simple, Paul: Trump DID IT.

He’s guilty. No need to belabor any false counter-narrative from Ringside, or Powerline (that’s Hinderaker’s hilariously insipid take, BTW).

And Tangerine 2.0’s doing it AGAIN here this morning in DC, by pressuring Ukraine / Pres. Zelenskyy to accept all of Putin’s terms, for peace. In other words: surrender.

This morning, Trump said Ukraine must end any claims to Crimea, to boot — something he himself has claimed to oppose since 2015. Damn, Paul. Wake up.

As Trump his-self said:

“…Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing, I think you will probably be rewarded mightily….”

Despite all the subsequent cover ups / misinformation (from both MAGA world and Russia)… he’s guilty — then and now.

Please do sod off, you idiots.

Out.

  1. As I’ve mentioned, I’m living PLB-free and Ringside-free these days, having blocked both sites on all my browsers. But I do recall Hinderaker repeatedly calling the “Russia hoax” the biggest political scandal in American history, which is so staggeringly stupid, I’m amazed the pixels stuck to the screen.

Despite “Russia hoax” being common parlance among conservative commentators, I’ve yet to see a single one outline the specific falsehoods in the Russia narrative.

Did Russia want Donald Trump to win? Yes, and as far as I know, nobody disputes this.
Did Russia hack Hillary Clinton’s servers to collect damaging information? Yes.
Did members of Trump’s campaign meet with Russian operatives for the purposes of obtaining damaging hacked material about Hillary Clinton? Yes.
Did Trump openly and publically call on Russia to hack Clinton’s emails? Yes.

None of the above facts are in dispute. Did the Steele dossier contain some falsehoods? Certainly. But that doesn’t change the above facts. So: How is it a hoax if the above events actually happened?

Maybe Paul eloquently addressed that question behind his paywall.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

    Just kidding.

  2. You are plainly a better man than I am because I cannot look away… No matter how mind numbingly stupid they are… I keep looking at those idiots… I wish I had your discipline.

And well… in any event — have a great Labor Day, man!

  3. The trouble is, I don’t have the discipline. My going to those sites was so reflexive and automatic that I had to install a site blocker to break myself of the habit. And even when I did, I found myself going to another browser to skirt my own blocer, so I had to install blockers on all my browsers.

When I no longer have the comments section to vent my frustration and anger (and, let’s face it, make fun of the commenters), I no longer find value in visiting Powerline. And I’ve grown tired of Paul’s I’m-a-reasonable-conservative-because-I-occasionally-criticize-Trump schtick. It doesn’t change the fact that Paul is a inveterate racist. He would be deeply offended by that accusation, but that doesn’t make it any less true.

    1. Never forget that Paul once wrote this:

Where Blacks live is the result of (1) where they want to live and (2) where they can afford to live. If Blacks want to live in upscale neighborhoods populated by Whites, but can’t afford to, we shouldn’t assume that racism is responsible. More likely, the Blacks in question haven’t done the things they needed to do — e.g., stay in school, avoid having kids too young, get and stay married — to afford the housing they want.

Somehow, even with an Ivy League education, Paul has never heard of redlining.

      1. Finally — even though it’s a small audience here… You may be comfortable in assuming that both Paul and John at least see whatever you write. Based on tracking through statcounter, I see their regular visits from their IPs — ones that I had identified almost a decade ago.

And they’ve never stopped using those home computers… So you can be assured that they see what you write here!

        As always, thanks so much!

    2. Well… Not really to promote this site — but anytime you feel like seeing what those idiots have said and blowing off some steam… This place will be here — and you’ll always be welcome!

Clearly a much smaller audience but…

Not that I need to feed any unhealthy habits of yours, but I’m not so sure it’s unhealthy!
