I get that all these pundits are bending over backwards to say (even though they themselves likely don’t believe a word of it!)… “it will all work out” to avoid criticizing what is clearly Tangerine’s inability to do ANYTHING free of toxic levels of chaos.
And so, Mirengoff vacuously sniffs at the idea that Kennedy may well direly endanger Americans in need of government assisted health care (or vaccines), thus:

I’m not sure how much they differ from those of Trump’s other top health-related selections — such as David Weldon, Janette Nesheiwat, and Marty Makary — but I’m pretty sure there’s more than a little bit of disconnect. “We’ll see” would not be the answer — if it were to turn out that it is his mother or father dying of a bad flu, or mpox, or H1N1, because Kennedy stopped subsidies for the elderly — for clearly effective vaccines.
