Latest Emerson Polling Puts Tangerine’s “Unfavorables” Ahead Of His “Favorables” — By A Staggering 10%.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris now shows 51% of voting Americans view her “favorably”.

Only about 48% (in the same latest Emerson polling) view her unfavorably. So she is net favorable by over 3%.

These results mirror what McCain/Palin looked like, in August of 2008. [But Mr. Obama led that 2008 race, essentially wire to wire. Here, astonishingly — Kamala Harris has lept to the decisive lead, in just under 30 elapsed days. That is how unpopular Tangerine now has become with “sensible” Americans.]

To be fair, I should point out — that (of course!) John McCain was ALWAYS net “favorable” — it was the Palin half of that ticket that made it net “unfavorable”.

Say whatever else you might about him (and my disagreements with him were manifold), he was a pure Purple Heart war hero, and surviving POW — of Vietnam’s despicable “Hanoi Hilton”. [It is likely that some of the net, was due to the not-outrageous idea that Sen. McCain was plenty old enough to die in office, if elected to 1600 Penn. — and that would leave the wildly inexperienced / trailer trash / former Alaska TV sports anchor Sarah Palin in charge of the nation. Vance is an echo of that as well, no?]

Tangerine’s net unfavorables began in earnest — when he said that he preferred war heros “who didn’t get captured“. All while he took six draft deferrals — for supposed “bone spurs”.

No candidate with a ten-point net unfavorable rating has ever been able to win in the general, and secure the Presidency. Never. Ever.

Bank on that, you Powerline dolts.
