Well… in all likelihood, the Tangerine / Vance ticket just… lost 2024 — in a landslide.
Mr. Biden has handed the mantle to Kamala Harris. We will see the first woman of color President in US history, come November.
The notion that the remaining undecideds will choose a convicted 34-time felon — who has $500 million in fraud judgments tacked to his name — over a very bright, street fighting debater about only two thirds his age… is simply not credible — regardless of color or gender. Tangerine just became the mean ole’ pop pop he’s been demonizing.
My first prediction is he will claim his bone-spurs have flared up, and he cannot debate her later in the cycle, or ever. If he shows up, she will mop the floor with his awful toupee.
So John’s charts are now meaningless, except that they do accurately reveal how poorly Trump will do in swing states — against a vibrant younger opponent: he cannot win in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania or Arizona now. Probably not in Nevada, either.
He’s done — if our nominee is Kamala Harris.
But Hinderaker had this much right — pre- the Biden news of the day… even if he’s two paragraphs behind what’s known, as I say:
