Overnight, Mirengoff took another GOP operative to task for saying the new GOP is doing a terrible job of articulating what it is POSITIVELY in support of — as ideas, policies and/or visions.
In sum, the thesis is that GOP is now only the party of “no”.
Paul feels this is not a valid criticism — as (in his estimation) there is much the new GOP agrees on.
Yet everything he lists… is a “no” item. Stop this. End that. Exclude these people. Have no Speaker for months and months.
Not once does he point to a “thousand points of light” type-vision for America.
And so… Paul proves that critique correct.
I might go just a lil’ way more down the road… and say the new GOP is dead as a brand.
Unless the KKK is a brand, the GOP has… none.
