Trump Needed A “Knock-Out Flying Mare From The Upper Turn-Buckle” Type Win Tonight.

He didn’t even come close to “staying even”.

To hear Hinderaker tell it, Trump won. I disagree, but the truth is… it doesn’t matter.

Trump simply came up woefully short, on every dimension that matters to ordinary voters.

And other than Joe simply (impossibly) dropping dead at the podium, there was never any chance that Trump could close the yawning gap in his campaign with this debate.

John thinks he still can. Nope. I voted today, at my City Hall. Early. It is over — and for more than 44 million other Americans — the voting is over. He needed to find perhaps 12 million NEW votes tonight — and he turned away almost all remaining independents. He fed the ugly base, only. So he… lost.

Trump has no doubt lost. But the moment he lost this election was (as I clearly said that very night, in response to John’s ever-frothy nonsense)… in the fading half-light of June 1, 2020 — that was the moment he had Bill Barr trample and gas peaceful protesters, to hold a Bible upside down — for a photo opp at a church that had not invited him.

He hasn’t been back there since. No surprise. It is called Black Lives Matter Plaza now.

Get ready for at least eight years of inclusive democracy, John — and note that I didn’t say Democratic Party rule. But it will be that, with Kamala Harris quite possibly stretching it to 12.

Indeed, it will be far more inclusive than Trump’s last four — or those you and your Tea Party / Freedom Caucus / Alt Righter jokers have seen — in decades (going back to Dick Cheney’s early White House), for certain.

You’ll have to learn to live with that.

Cheers.
