I guess at least Mr. Hinderaker is in a thick fellowship of moronic company, tonight.
He joins Sarah Sanders (she, whose “smolder eyes” are regularly painted with “thousands of lies“!), Hannity, Brit Hume(!), and Sean Davis (of Federalist) — and Tucker Carlson, of course. All of them specifically and transparently lie to the world — about what Mueller said, and found.
Here’s the core of John’s lie, tonight:
“…[T]here never was any evidence at all that the Trump campaign colluded in any way with Russians. So why was Mueller’s investigation confined to the wrong campaign?….”
Mr. Mueller specifically said pretty much the exact opposite: it was Trump’s campaign that was implicated in a conspiracy with the Russians — but the evidence wasn’t overwhelming to prove it against Mr. Trump, himself.
On the other hand, Mr. Mueller specifically found scads of evidence that the President committed a crime: the crime of obstruction of justice. He specifiaclly said, if he could clear him of that crime he would have. But he could not.
Now it all goes to Congress — for impeachment, which is exactly what Andrew McCarthy (a former US Attorney, under Bush 43), and one of John’s guys — said not five minutes after Mueller stopped talking. McCarthy said it on Fox, too. He called Mueller’s statement “explosive.” He said it was “very different than what Mr. Barr” had said was “the takeaway“. [This is the Jaworski / Watergate roadmap, to a tee.]
That’s your own boy, John — you should pay more attention, here. And stop lying about matters we can all read directly — and see with our own eyes — for our own damn selves. [I’ll note in passing that John’s headline called Mr. Mueller a “partisan hack”… which is self-refuting, for anyone who has ever worked with Bobby Three Sticks. He is very by the book — but never ever partisan.]
