Oh, The Nonsense 45 Tweets!

trump-tweets-lack-basic-understandings-2017Apparently, Mr. Trump thinks that an organized (and in some cases, angry) gathering, of one’s constituents is… “Sad!”

We might thus infer that he believes candidate rules (the right to script out meetings, and control crowds — loading them only with true believers — via advance ticket registrations) apply to those who now govern. Not so. Now the full on first amendment applies, Mr. Trump.

Alternatively, we might infer that he thinks Republican Congressmen need only “serve the Republicans”, in their districts.

High School Civics (US version) primer  — for Herr Trump: under our system of government, once elected, they (and you) represent everyone in the district/nation — not just the people who voted for you. You are duty bound to listen to the dissenters as well. It doesn’t matter whether they are organized, or spontaneous — you serve them. You must listen to them.

Here is the latest Tweet, from the Ignoramus-in-Chief:

Donald J. Trump — 4 hrs ago…

…The so-called angry crowds in home districts of some Republicans are actually, in numerous cases, planned out by liberal activists. Sad!….

Oh. Eee-gads. The horrors. At some point in his tour as President, Mr. Trump may likewise be hectored by people who did not vote for him — live and in person. But he owes them his ear — as he serves them too.

Not the other way ’round. It often seems that he thinks we the people are here to serve him (as he has now spent — in one MONTH, in taxpayer-funded protection and logistics, on trips/travel… fully one-tenth of what Mr. Obama spent, in eight years).
