Weeeeelllll… we may have finally arrived at the clichéd “a bridge too far” — for at least a few of Hinderaker’s fellow blog authors, as of this past Saturday evening.

If the current whistle-blower sourced story pans out as true, based on what’s now known, Trump bribed or blackmailed the sitting President of the Ukraine in an attempt to get (or have made up!) domestic political dirt on Mr. Biden, a very likely opponent, in the next general election for President of the United States. [Trump apparently threatened to withhold over $210 million in aid Congress had ordered sent to the Ukraine, to resist military aggression, from (but of course!) Putin — Trump’s favorite bad lil’ despot.]

That sort of crime has been… unheard of, in the last century — in the USA, at any federal level (excepting perhaps Ollie North’s escapades, for which he was convicted, under Reagan). But this is the president himself. Not some obscure zealot rogue Marine Lt. Colonel.

 And… here on Monday afternoon, Paul rightly calls out his compatriots — for offering any approving words — as to this crime spree of a mal-administration. Paul quite soberly, and obviously, concurs with the weight of available opinion — that this was all to benefit Trump personally (if not yet proven to be a benefit to his real estate business, it is certainly proven as a benefit to keep the seat at 1600 Penn., and avoid indictment for four more years). To be fair, Paul says he doesn’t think there is proof (yet) of Trump getting a real estate benefit — even though he sent his personal lawyer, not the secretary of state, to broker the aborted payoff.

And John? He thinks it all so much… of nothing.

So once again, Hinderaker is simply Hitler’s “good German.” But PowerLine’s editiors may yet completely cut him loose. One might hope — it is an extreme far right blog, but john is the most truly indoctrinated and espousing white supremacist of them.

Seriously, just ask him.
