First, the obvious preliminaries (which establish the lack of seriousness of the deflection efforts): both John and Paul call this a “transcript“. It is no such animal.

Given Trump’s well-documented proclivity for bold-faced lying, and in writing, to boot — [to say nothing of his on-camera lies, just last week about the whole topic!] we may safely assume, that when the real transcript of the call, unedited, emerges — or better yet, a tape of it… it will have much more. So… stay tuned.

And yet, of what is released, what is there — is damning enough — certainly, to warrant an impeachment investigation. Any prosecutor will tell you… a completed felony doesn’t require an express quid pro quo. In fact, most mobsters that go to jail — do so, for far less than this, compiled on a tape. Felonies, all. [BTW, Paul’s nonsense is here.]

Which would allow us to likely infer (given the preceding) that Trump now knows he’s caught — red-handed.

But Hinderaker calls it a “nothing” — not 10 hours after release — sans any disciplined, rigorous reason to do so.

Moreover, even if we take their dismissals as genuine — the whistle was blown on far more than this one attempted transaction.

So do not fall for the deflection / distraction — the US House committee will hear from the whistle-blower in due course, directly. And there will be more.

Finally, the applicable federal law flat out requires the turnover of the full complaint, to the House [or, “shall” means… shall]. 1600 Pennsylvania should have no role, and should not have even seen it, at this point.

That — coupled to AG Barr’s, and Guiliani’s hand-waving at it, should tell you… all you need to know. Rudy is caught red-handed here too, and Barr may well be… dis-barred for his role in trying to bury it.

Now you know — but the process has barely started — yet Hinderaker preposterously claims omniscience on it all. Why just Sunday, past, he was saying he [and we] know nothing. that is far closer to… accurate — than John’s morning clap-trap.

Because Trump is an inveterate liar, we still really know nothing. but that will change… when the whistle-blower(s) speak. There. Will. Be. Blood.
