Well… this one is just… too stupid for much additional verbiage.

But Tucker Carlson (and Betsy Stauffer!) have made the preposterous claim that they can know — without ever meeting the agents, or speaking to them… that all the IRS agents who left a note on his door… were registered as Democrats.

Yes… that is how desperate the frothy right of the GOP has gotten: Matty “Dick Pics” Taibbi has said that receiving a locally-delivered reminder from the IRS that he needs to verify his ID, for them… is proof that the “Bidens” are out to get him.

R-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-ght.

Fun fact: In the last three months, I personally had the very same visit (no, I won’t say, and cannot recall, which day, exactly) — to verify my ID, on both my 2017 and 2022 returns, but I was at home. [BTW, I am a registered Democrat with a BLM yard sign right out front.] And they were polite, swift and professional. I asked them: “Is it odd that you come out in person?”

IRS agent’s Answer: “No, not really… we had several (unrelated) subpoenas to serve (other homes and businesses) in your zip code, and so… to move our processes along, we add to our travel schedules… people we can quickly meet and clear with picture IDs, face to face.”

Makes perfect sense.

But Matt, Tucker and Bitsy all see a vast left wing conspiracy — in the IRS making efficient calls.

And they all greatly over-estimate the importance of Matty “Dick-Pics” Taibbi. It is a near certainty that no one out in the field that day for the IRS, state wide knew — or cared — whether he was talking to a MAGA dog-and-pony show on Capitol Hill, or what he was talking about. [And to be clear, she went utterly radio-silent for five days, while this threatening meme, at right — put out by Tangerine, himself — against a NYC prosecutor… circulated. Damn.]

Sit down, you clowns.
