About A Third Of The Nation… Had Arizona To Win It All, On ~6 Million Listed, On The CBS Sports Bracketology Site…

Desperate to complain about anything — specifically NOT about Trump, and somehow (at least he imagines, in lunatic fashion) connected to our current Commander in Chief, Scott Johnson this morning writes to mock his pick of No. 2 Arizona over a 15th seed — Princeton.

He mocks the fact that Mr. Biden had ‘Zona to win it all. Okay. Gee — that’s a… barn-burner. [Not.]

You see, it turns out… so did about a third of the nation.

So… Mr. Biden is in fine company (note that Trump hasn’t the courage — nor does DeSantis — to make ’em public, if they do it at all, which I’d heartily doubt).

Moreover, to see how unusual / improbable Princeton’s win is… consider this, Scott: there has never been a run of three straight tournaments with a win by a No. 15 seed — until last night. In the past two years, we have seen a 15-seed win multiple games — last year, Saint Peter’s advanced to the Elite Eight, and Oral Roberts made the Sweet 16 in 2021. This year, all four 15-seeds finished first or tied for first in their conference standings: Colgate, UNC Asheville, Vermont and Princeton. So, in sum — Mr. Biden was not making a wild pick.

I’d close by noting that Scott, Paul, John and Steve (and newly-added lil’ Bitsy!) haven’t shown any public brackets. Ever.

Gee — could it be that they simply cannot brook being… wrong / or being… humiliated? I think so.

Out — with the trivia here on St. Padraich’s — grinning. Go Marquette — women and men!
