Uh huh. As the saying goes, “Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt….”

This is one of John’s co-authors, each of whom write / say ludicrous things on the regular… but I cannot let this particularly odious one… pass.

His compatriot labels a recording of a conversation between Nixon and Reagan a racist “smear” because… wait for it: the conversation was private — between presidents.

 And, preposterously, in this telling — Reagan was simply doing his level best… to more deeply connect with Nixon — given the two’s rather chilly prior relationship.

So… privately uttered openly racist bullsh!t is excusable, not racist, at all — if it is uttered to tighten your relationship with an authority figure? Do I have that down right?

I do. The river in Egypt’s got nothing on these malign chuckleheads at PowerLine.

And… truth is: “racists are just gonna’ racist,” moron.

 Of course, this is simply the prep work, for when [not if] the Trump 2020 campaign is confronted with the audio b-roll, from “The Apprentice”, recorded circa May 2005, with Trump talking [see graphic banner, above] about “chaining, and dragging n-words… behind his car” — the same defense [it is impotently hoped, by Hinderaker and Johnson, that]… will blunt the meritorious charges of racism, against this racist faux-president — again.
