In the never ending competition to see who can lick Trump’s boots the shiniest… Scott Johnson this morning would purport to mock journalists for (wait for it!) STILL asking about Trump’s medical records (he promised three elections ago) — and his tax records (also promised — for three elections!).

Oh. And she took him to task for claiming that he can amend the US Constitution to remove birthright citizenship by his own (loony) executive orders.

This it the one that galls me the most: no one on the MAGA side of the aisle can read the Constitution they claim to cherish — see the Fourteenth Amendment, Section 1:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws….

He needs three-fourths of all state legislatures, and 2/3 majority votes — in both houses of Congress… to end birthright citizenship. Read: no way; meet no how.

But Scott, John and the band of merry morons don’t even bother to mention it — as they also fail to mention that his tariffs (should he achieve them) will cause newly runaway inflation in the US.
