Well… All This Is… Just… Silly: John — and Paul — Saturday Edition.

So, each of Mirengoff, and the Powerline boys — respectively, are trying to find an outrage… where none exists. In the former case, it is hand-wringing about newspaper endorsements or the lack thereof.

In the latter case, it involves Hinderaker staying on the pro-Tommy Robinson side of things, near Parliament Square (with a small crowd of xenophobes), in London. [Robinson, as most know, is due to stand trial in the Old Bailey, on Terrorism Act charges, related to violent rhetoric against UK asylum seekers.] Hinderaker’s there for the weekend, but spends six paragraphs… complaining about Trafalgar Square (where an anti-racism rally is occurring, but one which he stayed about a mile away from, so has no business “reviewing”).

As it happens, my adult daughter (a well-regarded travel writer) is IN Trafalgar Square right now. [Video on request, Johnnie!] It is thoughtful, peaceful, joyous — and much more broadly attended than the Tommy Robinson / nationalists’ bleatings (which John videoed — moments ago).

So — do ignore all of John’s “reporting” about Trafalgar. He is nowhere near it — and is just making sh!t up.

As to Paul… he fails to consider that (though cowardly) both Bezos and the owner of the LA Times may quite reasonably assume only one candidate (should he improbably win) would use all the might of Federal Goon Squads against their fourth estate properties, if these papers come out and endorse the clear choice of the editorial staff — Kamala Harris. In fact, one editor at the LA Times has resigned in protest over the owner’s moving of the goal posts, on the issue.

But as I say — that is solely the fault of the Tangerine-felon-candidate. He is the one regularly issuing threats to ruin and jail any and all people he views as his opponents, should he win. [Like my critique of John — do get your framing right, Paulie. Damn.]

Cheers.
