The contents of that laptop look to have been simply an altered, overwritten version of a hard drive from an earlier, likely at least partially faked version.

Be mindful, then, boys — libel and slander now lie. You are on notice of these problems with the chain of custody you cite as proof that the son of a prominent politician did or did not do anything (beyond several actions, largely the result of a substance abuse problem).
