I will make this quick: John has forever held an abiding hatred for anything that differs from 1950s American orthodoxy, on race, gender, religion and many other dimensions. Irrational, but abiding, forever.

This is so, even though 99.99% of all that he hates… literally has zero impact on his own life, or his own personal (purportedly religious) choices.

He can still do whatever he wants on Sunday — and hate all that he finds uncomfortable, or off-putting in any way, come Monday. He just cannot make discriminatory hiring or promotion decisions, if he is open to the public — on that basis alone. But forever… malign actors, like him, have skirted this federal legal edict, by finding pretextual reasons not to hire or promote people who don’t act or think the way he wants.

[I won’t link it, as it is so unhinged, but on Thursday evening he argued that if we don’t “stop this” — the US will next permit polyamorous marriage. Three or more. But he seems to have no problem with Mormons who’ve followed that — as an offshoot of the main faith. Because they tend to vote… with the GOP.
