John Hinderaker… is a sad shadow of what he once was — just even ten years ago.

The decade of Obama was… particularly unkind to him. His mind… completely… lost its way.

It is one thing to disagree in good faith, on policies… but during the latter part of the second Obama term, Hinderaker… simply slipped into race- and gender- based tropes / hate.

He forgot that conservatism was rooted in individualism, and that “mind your business” was its key tenant.

The real conservatives STILL tell people not to fret about what others do in the privacy of their own adult lives, at home.

So it is especially… sad, that under DeSantis’ / Tangerine’s version of xtain-fascism, Hinderaker and Co. adopt the view that they alone should be able to decide (for all of us!) whether it is okay for someone to dress a certain way, or put on make-up — or to choose not to. Hinderaker would say (now, in his twilight years) that it is his, and DeSantis/Trump’s business to regulate, legislate, and ultimately… criminalize. Damn.

He has… gone… senile — and malevolently… so.
