Hinderaker Claims “It’s All Politics” — And “It Will Blow Over…” NOPE.

Ahem. Part one of the problem here is that Hinderaker, and Hayward and Johnson don’t even understand what is going on with the Trump Espionage Act Violations Search Warrant of earlier this week Part two… is that to the extent they do, Scott, John and Steve have now lied… about it. [Yawn… nuthin’ new, there, though — in truth.]

Under 18 USC § 793, the most important section charged in the warrant application, the president alone cannot declassify any top secret documents, of the kind we understand were in the eleven or so boxes marked “Top Secret”, in the basement at Mar-A-Lago (there were around 20 in total).

So, boys, comparisons to HRC are laughable, on this score — she was never even considering keeping them. She acid washed her copies of them (according to your own frothy right pundits), when she left State. And she answered numerous Congressional Committees for days on end about that, and Benghazi….

Has Trump done anything under oath, on any topic, ever — related to any of these matters… except to take the Fifth? Nope. He hasn’t. And over 400 times, at that.

So… the water just keeps running over this dam, on at least eight distinct fronts, as to which John finally (albeit obliquely) admits… the Tangerine brand has been “blackened” by all of this. John’s own memorable (if outdated and racially problematic)… turn of phrase.

So — let us be clear: to make this warrant application stick, the FBI likely has mustered a sh!t-ton of hard evidence, reviewed by a USDC Judge and found compelling… including likely the video-feeds it already has, from that basement — under a prior subpoena.

But no, the boys think it all just a tempest in a small political teapot. So let me put it in political terms they can understand: the tide has turned. Look at the polling on R v. D in generic Congressional races for this November:

In our average of polls of the generic congressional ballot,
Democrats currently lead Republicans by 0.2 points (43.9 percent to 43.7 percent). A week ago, Republicans and Democrats were roughly tied (44.2 percent to 44.2 percent). At this time last month, voters preferred Republicans by 2.0 points (45.1 percent to 43.1 percent)
….

Yep — the GQP’s supposed lead… is G O N E. Perhaps these three stooges get (at least) that. [And there is nothing improper about any DoJ “getting their man”… on strong evidence — as here.]

Cheers boys. Another blue tsunami is breaking, about two miles off-shore, for a glassy ride — in November. Grin.
