I know this won’t even remotely affect any outcome of any electoral demographic, as Mr. Trump will lose the “black churched American vote” by overwhelming margins anyway — but I just wanted to note that (in direct contrast to his pre-recorded infomercial from a black televangelist’s pulpit in Detriot two weekends ago), Mr. Trump learned yesterday that unscripted black America sees right through him.
That is — even though the pastor strongly disagreed with his political views, that same pastor welcomed him there with respect, and open arms — solely to thank him for bringing more attention to the Flint water crisis. That was a show of Christian charity.
Then… Trump went all orange pumpkin Donald, after being warned not to, by the very same pastor. And so, the pastor took the mic from him, telling him he was not welcome to disrespect HRC in her church.
Later yesterday, Trump seemed to attack the pastor for enforcing her pre-announced rules — in her own church (on Fox):
Trump (referring to the pastor): “…it doesn’t bother me. Everyone plays their games. It doesn’t bother me….”
Well. Plays their games?! What an unsurpassing dolt.
Cutting back to Bethel church then (earlier in the day), when real people — real Americans — started to ask real questions, like about his record on renting to African Americans (or more precisely, his history of NOT renting to them — and fighting dozens of discrimination suits, in his rental property empire)…
The Donald simply left. He said he was out of time, after only 16 elapsed minutes.
That’s the Donald for you.
He loses in November, for certain.
