About once every three weeks now, Scott, John or Steve bang out a stupid scree about how it is a barn burning emergency that some local competition or another has allowed a person who was born with androgynous or even vestigial male anatomy… compete somewhere, against humans born with female anatomy.

One would think that it was raining cats and dogs, from the breathless tone employed there.

Meanwhile… they are as silent as the grave, about the fact that at least five young women in Texas have literally had their lives endangered, by state intrusion into private doctor patient conversations on family planning. Despite Dobbs, Texas and Florida and Louisiana and Mississippi have all taken a bridge too far, from an equal protection point of view. [And a putative federal class action lawsuit there, will establish this fact, this year.]

Indeed, if these malevolent, embittered old farts want something to rail on and on about… why not the endangering of vulnerable women’s very lives — and not just… weight lifting records?

Why, indeed? It is about control — not empowerment, for these dinosaurs.
