Steven Bannon was specifically pardoned by Tangerine for felonies involving stealing from the GOP donors. Stealing.

As Empty Wheel points out (far more eloquently than I ever might), getting that FACTUAL narrative through the Q-GOP’s thick skulls… is almost certainly a losing effort. That is a cult, run by cultists. For a cult-leader’s grift, exclusively.

However, we should still keep our eye on “who else” helped promote this fund that stole from Tangerine donors… most of them with not near the extra cash that Bannon and Owens have lying around. I would bet when the final allocutions are published, the DoJ will be looking at who else might be charged. [Cough… Candace?!]

And, we all know that Bannon’s pardon will not, and cannot, lawfully save him from crimes that were unknown to the world, at the time of the pardon by Tangerine. So stay tuned on that.

But it is gob-smacking that Hinderaker and Co. remain silent as church-mice about the fact that Trump pardoned a guy for stealing from Trump’s own base of low-income, low-information donors. [They sure do blather on and on, about things of no moment to 75% of the electorate though — long ago exposed as a false wedge issue, about something that doesn’t even exist — except in the minds of GOP strategists like Hinderaker and Bannon.]
