[U] So… Mirengoff Is Simply Retreading Bill Ackman’s… Third-Hand Rumors. Yawn.

updated: 01.02.24 — she has resigned. End update.

Not a surprise.

His zeal for claiming “reverse racism” / victimhood knows no bounds.

Now he repeats a rumor… in a “subscribers only” post. Hilarious.

He hopes it is true.

Even if the purported rumor is true — he (and we) will never know. Claudine Gay, PhD… will remain the titular head of Harvard University. One way, or another.

Here endeth the lesson. Silly old Paul.

Out.

Billingsley: A Man Without… A Clue.

It’s Christmas Day 2023.

And Billingspuss… offers his most insipid post yet this year.

He feels a few sentences, across several thousand pages of original written material… are a vast national scandal.

This, while his candidate has been found liable for forcible sexual assault, libel and defamation… and is facing four separate indictments on 93 felony counts.

And that’s before we address his on-tape “just grab her by the p#ssy!” exhortations.

Yes, it’s Xmas… but on Billingsley’s lost lil’ Island of Misfit Toys… the GOP has nothing to atone for, or worry about.

Charming!

Hinderaker’s KKK Advocacy — Re Harvard’s President (Like Mirengoff’s, Of Last Week).

Ah — just like Paul, so burps John.

I think this merits yet another new graphic, for John at Powerline, as well as Paul — at Ringside.

Done. It will appear shortly. [In fairness, I’ll note that Scott Johnson’s writing about it… did not allege… reverse race discrimination. Is that… progress, of a sort? I dunno. But I digress. Back to it:]

Hinderaker and Mirengoff tell us the sole reason Harvard has a Black woman president is… (wait for it!) reverse race discrimination. A claim for which there is only… the opposite of evidence. It is his baseless conjecture — and his open virulent racism… on display, in writing — yet again.

In Paul’s mind, the whole thing comes down to skin color — not the fact that she was far more nuanced in her remarks before the Congressional Kangaroo Court, on Speech Codes and Gaza.

In John’s mind, Harvard Corporation hired — and keeps — her, as an activist (not an academic) for far left agendas. Again he levels this charge with only the opposite of evidence. Like Paul, he thinks Harvard chose her for her color alone. He’s an… ass.

Both are malign, mediocre, embittered old whyte chuckleheads. And yes, Paul’s Jewish faith in no manner removes him from that classification: he’s KKK-er / shiny whyte. Her it is — in context:

But if Harvard’s extraordinary financial health wasn’t sufficient to ensure Gay’s retention, I think we can assume her race was. Gay is black; Magill’s white. On American college campuses, that makes a huge difference.

In fact, Gay’s race was probably the reason Harvard selected her in the first place. Bill Ackman, a billionaire hedge fund manager and major donor to Harvard, wrote on X, “I have confirmed now from multiple sources that the search committee that led to President Gay’s appointment excluded non-DEI eligible candidates from the process.”

After today, Gay isn’t just a DEI hire. She’s also a DEI non-fire….

I think — as we say in the law… the thing speaks… for itself.

And, John certainly is… a “thing“: he’s earned his white hood and robes, with the red teardrop embroidered on the sleeve.

Let them both wear them, henceforth — in shame.

Damn Paul & John — was chasing Ackman’s donation worth selling… your soul?

Solely For A Complete Record — Rudy Won’t Be Able To Avoid This $148 Million Judgment Debt, In Bankruptcy…

Rudy is seeking to avoid paying a series of lawsuit claims and judgments (all in, especially when one considers that several larger ones are listed as “unknown amount” — it will be over $171 million), almost all of which arise from what the law calls intentional torts or intentional frauds. The bankruptcy laws will give him no shelter from those — you must pay your bar-tab, on those, Rudy. Trust me on this; I’ve chased others under these statutes. He will lose.

And I suspect the likely nearly $10 million he owes in overdue, unpaid legal fees — to firms around the country — may also not be dischargeable. They all have decent bankruptcy counsel. But we shall see. Here are the top 50 creditor accounts, as well. He claims no one has a security interest on his assets — but he’s not listing his real property, so we know there are secured debts, on those [they will be resolved outside of the bankruptcy courts]:

…The law requires that you receive a briefing about credit counseling before you file for bankruptcy….

Hilarious — and sadly, it doesn’t require that you get counseling — about being a more ethical and honorable… human. Onward,

In Which USDC Judge Alia L. Moses Enters A Largely Trivial Order, Right Before Christmas, In Del Rio, TX…

The only thing that matters, is that the federal CBP and DHS have until mid-March of 2024 — to answer the Texas complaint. [By then, the Fifth Circuit may have already tossed the case.]

Rather churlishly, though, she declined to stay her proceedings while the Fifth Circuit (and perhaps Supremes) decide whether federal statutes unchanged though nearly a half-century’s worth of litigation practice… mean what they say, at 8 USC § 1225(a)(1) and (3), regarding immigration matters — at the border.

No. . . she chose instead to write (rather imperially) in her two page order’s conclusion “…matters pending in this Court may be clarified by any decision by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals….”

Welp… in fact, Judge Moses — they may be obliterated, too. Not just “clarified“.

The feds have the right to “inspect” people at our border. See 8 USC § 1225(a)(1), and (3). The razor wire (without serious dispute) is impeding that Congressional mandate.

Game over.

Onward.

Mirengoff Is Back To Whining About College Entrance Essays — At Private Universities…

Funny — “legacy admissions” never much bothered him, Hinderaker, Johnson or Hayward.

But if there ever was a discriminatory practice in elite private university admissions, it was the “legacy”.

In any event, the Supremes made clear that diversity is desirable, as a goal — so long as overt quota-style discrimination isn’t employed.

That just bugs the crap out of Paul, obviously. He’s still belly-aching about the decision — here a half year later. Sheesh.

The problem is not the essay, Paul… the problem… is you.

You refuse to accept that the privileges you did not earn… are going away.

So be it — this is a new world. Either adapt, or perish, son.

Hinderaker Claims All Thought That Differs From His Is… “Evil”.

Okay.

So John is hosting a former Israeli dignitary at his annual gala.

That scans.

But instead of accepting that not all Americans share his views… he labels dissenting voices as “evil”.

I won’t bother to detail how deeply Un-American his pushing a Bibi agenda over all, on his fellow Americans is.

Just know that Bibi can’t… control America — or Americans, Hinderaker.

And Bibi needs US armaments and $$$.

John should wake up, and smell the… hummus.

Cheers.

When You Argue Over “Encouraged” And “Praised”… You’ve Already Conceded The Central Point.

So… Bill Otis is reduced to hair-splitting, about whether Tangerine’s acts “are enough” for Colorado to DQ him.

Note that no trial is required. The post Civil War drafters left that out, intentionally. Running for office is a privilege — not a right.

Now Maine is very near that outcome as well.

My point?

This crack-smoker wants to be president. If he’s “encouraging” riots that result in felony murders… he ought not be on a second ballot.

So, sure Otis… bleat all you like.

This gambit is an end.

What a tool…

2029 Target For OSIRIS APEX: Asteroid “Apophis” — As It Gets Warped By Earth’s Gravity, Only ~20,000 Miles Out.

The extended OSIRIS-REx mission has been redubbed as OSIRIS-Apex. That is a bow to its next target, Apophis — a small asteroid, mostly made of silicates (as opposed to carbons, as Bennu is, when studied by the sample return mission in the masthead).

While it only makes a close approach every 7,500 years, Apophis will slide by — very near Earth in 2029. The dip will place it closer that some of our spacecrafts/satellites, at only about ~20,000 miles away. So, it is likely to be warped and shifted, by the tug of Earth’s gravity. OSIRIS will document it all, for us. Here’s the latest, from NASA:

…“OSIRIS-APEX will study Apophis immediately after such a pass, allowing us to see how its surface changes by interacting with Earth’s gravity,” said Amy Simon, the mission’s project scientist based at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

Apophis’ close encounter with Earth will change the asteroid’s orbit and the length of its 30.6-hour day. The encounter also may cause quakes and landslides on the asteroid’s surface that could churn up material and uncover what lies beneath.

“The close approach is a great natural experiment,” said Dani Mendoza DellaGiustina, principal investigator for OSIRIS-APEX at the University of Arizona in Tucson. “We know that tidal forces and the accumulation of rubble pile material are foundational processes that could play a role in planet formation. They could inform how we got from debris in the early solar system to full-blown planets….”

Now you know — closer and closer encounters, to the holidays, as well. Everybody off planes, by 7 pm tonight! Woot!

Welp. Hinderaker At Least Admits That There Is A “Left” — In Israel’s Politics…

But his conclusion is utterly bass-akwards. [You see, John — how this works is… we AMERICANS… owe our allegiance — first, to our DULY ELECTED President. We may disagree with him from time-to-time — but when he urges a cautious approach in Gaza… saying no one is 100% right, there… AND HRC supports that view, here on US soil, in speaking to Jewish groups… that is core free expression activity; not “interfering” — in anyone’s foreign government.] See John, we are US citizens, not Israeli ones. Sheesh.

If he thinks a former US Sec. of State speaking to Israel’s “left” (on US soil, in support of the sitting President and Administration, no less!) is beyond the pale

What should we make of Tangerine… as a candidate for high office, exhorting Putin to find email dirt on HRC?!

The two cases could not be less alike: HRC is a FORMER official, seeking no office of any kind. [BTW, Hinderaker never opposed Kissinger speaking to right-leaning factions of overly anti-Democratic foreign governments, did he? Nope.]

Tangerine, as a GOP leading candidate, two times now — has called for the end of foreigners “poisoning our blood.” This was aimed at Mexico, Belize and Argentina, among others. Hinderaker? Utterly silent on these attempts to meddle in domestic affairs — in our allied / friendly governments.

But let HRC speak to the truth (whilst on US soil) of the top-right graphic (original photo taken in Chicago — in November 2023) — and Hinderaker is again searching for a… fainting couch.

H I L A R I O U S.

Out.
