Johnson crows today in giddy fashion… to the effect that we have a courageous occupant at 1600 Penn. If by courageous he means to say that we have signed up for a decade of a quagmire throughout the Middle East, overnight… Then I agree.
[And that’s almost exactly the opposite of what Mirengoff had to say… i.e., “never be giddy as wars start.”]
There are already several US troops killed in action — and many more wounded — all as cheap drones are pounding cities nominally uninvolved entirely… as Iran’s military strikes back at nations and oligarchs who didn’t sufficiently “stand up for them.”
By my lights, none of this is courage — that is only… foreseeable… chaos.
And if the Tangerine Dotard had a working forebrain, I’d label it as “chaos by design”.
On the one hand, I am sure Bibi designed it — and on the other, I am pretty sure that Trump doesn’t even understand what he’s done. Charming, Scottie. Just charming.
