[U: Hinderaker’s Lunacy.] Bruce’s “Streets Of Minneapolis” — Just… Listen.

The Brother Bruce… is at it (again) — in the fine tradition of Woody Guthrie — and Pete Seeger.

More than 2.8 million people have heard/downloaded it, in just under the first 24 elapsed hours.

Updated: Overnight, the malign liar Hinderaker would ask us to believe that Mr. Pretti’s confrontation with ICE agents, eleven days earlier… justified his killing. What a disgusting piece of crap John Hinderaker is. At law, that is…irrelevant. And all it really suggests… (if we are to credit the idea that the ICE thugs knew about the prior encounter) is that the ICE agents probably “targeted him” — if they recognized his face. That is, they chose to execute him, for having the temerity to oppose them, ten days earlier. Jesus, John. Get your sh!t together. End, updated portion.

And so, back to the main point: this man — Springsteen — is an American gem:

…Came Trump’s private army, from the DHS. . . through smoke and rubber bullets, in dawn’s early light… citizens stood for justice — their voices ringing through the night….

Trump’s thugs beat on all, in the frigid air… then we heard the gunshots, and Alex Pretti lay in the snow, dead….

We will remember the names of those who died, on the Streets of Minneapolis….

Indeed. Onward, resolutely.

  1. Hinderaker’s post is repulsive, and deliberately obfuscates the law. I’m sure John didn’t skip “prior bad acts” day in law school, so he knows he’s perpetrating bullshit.

But credit where credit is due: In a post that’s mostly about disparaging Pretti family attorney Steve Schleicher (who played a crucial role rosecution of Derek Chauvin), Scott Johnson acknowledges of the video:

Even if true — perhaps the Signal chats will provide a more definitive answer — that would not justify Pretti’s killing either, but it helps explain what is happening here. It adds context and it is part of the story.

It’s not much, but I’ll take what I can get.

    1. Yeah. Scott is thinking… what will he say to his adult kids, nieces and nephews — come 2028, when they ask, why was he intentionally cruel and intentionally lying?

I fear of John’s version of this will be his progeny will be proud of his obfuscation.

      Disgusting
