Updated @ 4:30 PM EDT — Now Scott Johnson is trafficking in, and amplifying allegations from an anon. X-itter account, one that claims to have an… “anon. whistle-blower’s” sworn affidavit (and the claim is that the original was mailed to US House Speaker Johnson, with a post-mark prior to the debate last week, as some form of “proof” though that would be no such thing!)… all of which claims Kamala pressed for Trump to be… fact checked in real time.
That much I am certain is true — the man lies with every sentence — so that would be a given, as a ground rule, for Kamala’s participation. All the rest is so improbable… as to not bear repeating.
But repeat it, Scott does, verbatim — without any verification, and reports it all as… declarative facts (and, feeding his claim about “Lawfare” below).
GOP House Speaker Johnson’s office has not confirmed the receipt of ANYTHING, whether pre-, or post-debate date mailed. [Scott — at a minimum — should have waited for that much — from his own party’s head in the House.]
So yes, all of this and the below is more “crazy sh!t my dad says” — or “Florida man”, if that meme resonates more for you. End updated portion. Sheesh. What a bitter lil’ old wrinkled spud.
Look — gun violence has no place in America.
Except that it happens in elementary schools, high schools, middle schools, restaurants, bars, at football and softball games, on street corners… and of course, inside homes (and on their lawns, too!) in almost every town in America, now — without regard to population size or demographic makeup. So, I guess all I’ve got here after two attempts in two months… is exactly what they’ve offered to the kids in schools around our nation: “thoughts and prayers”… and as Trump said, himself (to parents of kids slaughtered in their schools): “look, it is sad, but you need to move on with your life….” No, actually, dipshit, they don’t. This is a failure YOU own.
I write at the moment though, to fact check the malign idiot Johnson, on what might have been a casus belli for this incident. He claims “the Democrats’ “Lawfare” is in part to blame.
Bullshit. When someone gets held accountable for their pattern felonies, across decades now… that is not partisan “lawfare“. Those are… consequences, from a life of crime.
In sum, Trump’s chosen life-path. That he stokes people’s rage, by claiming he’s an innocent lamb at the slaughterhouse run by his opponents… leaves him mostly to blame — for his own incendiary rhetoric. No one should ever try to shoot him, of course, but Johnson helps inflame the nut-cases, by joining in the “reality distortion bubble” that sees this as “persecution” this morning. Here’s his in context (what a… putz!):
