Tonight, Hayward utterly bereft of principles of any sort — and cynically but officially — rules out Tangerine for 2024 — saying he’s “desperate”.
Of course… the main source of GOP desperation is Trump’s nasty and escalating attacks on any other GOP possibility.
But Trump — and the GOP — ought to be more than a lil’ desperate since the former Prezit… is likely to be indicted in NY, within weeks.
And that is all Hayward espouses tonight: the practical reality that the GOP cannot win an election in 2024 if a felony indictee is the ticket topper.
[Of course, it probably cannot win with a brown-shirted loon of a Governor from Florida who attacks gays, and would deny women agency over their own bodies, either — but that’s a laugh for another day, right? Right.]
What a useless, festering pile of fecal matter Hayward’s GOP has become — over even just the last decade.
