Hayward just quoted Saint Ronnie, here on the fortieth year, to the day. I’ll point out that the Powerline boys cannot see themselves, for themselves — in his long dead and over the top remarks.
But I sure see them — in his closing quote from CS Lewis:

That is certainly the Powerline boys — to a tee. And it is a certainty that Ronnie’s “evil empire” lives on, in the workings of Vlad Putin — whom these boys regularly defend.
