The People Of America Would NEVER Have Tolerated This — From ANY Former Guy…

The rule was, when one left the Oval Office, one did not carp about one’s successor — even on domestic economic matters. That time is long gone.

But there was an almost military / chain of command / religious precept, rooted in our nation’s shared destiny, that former guys NEVER questioned — let alone criticized — the current POTUS, not in public (during say, the ill-starred Bay of Pigs matter), while the current guy was facing down an enemy dictator — even diplomatically.

And NEVER, EVER — if tanks or heavy artillery guns and jets were on the move.

The shocking lengths that Hinderaker now reaches for, trying to paper over Trump’s deplorable lack of any patriotic sense of duty to his own nation’s goals… says an awful lot about Hinderaker. We expect narcissistic blather from Tangerine… but Hinderaker… theoretically knows better.

I thought he respected Eisenhower, even if he did not respect Kennedy.

That’s… disgusting. And ominous — for the future of the GOP.

On that score, Paul Mirengoff will very likely find… that history paints him as very wise, for shaking the dust off his sandals — from the Powerliners’ village — as he departed… with at least some remaining integrity.
