This truly merits scant mention — and no analysis.
A man who declared, without any evidence, on July 19, 2020 — that the dying in the USA “was mostly over” [about 150,000 were dead then]… and the US death total sits around 212,000 tonight…
…IS SOMEONE NO ONE SHOULD TAKE SERIOUSLY. EVER AGAIN.
That was… Hinderaker. And… a lie he’s never apologized for, by the way.
Tonight, John complains about some California mask-wearing rules in restaurants. They do seem a little excessive (put the mask back up between bites, in essence) — but if the alternative is to close indoor restaurants, altogether… John ought to… hush, if in fact he wants to be pro-restaurant commerce.
Seriously, John. Just shut up.
We are on track for perhaps a quarter of a million deaths by Christmas.
And the notion that we should NOT close indoor, sit-down, dine-in service at restaurants… is becoming less defensible, given the continued acceleration of spread/positives — and deaths — nation-wide.
He should read what his fellow blogger, Paul M. wrote, this afternoon. With some significant under-estimation errors, Paul is right: John’s and Trump’s NON-policies… are causing excessive deaths.
Full stop.
Hinderaker: God’s own fool/moron, on all matters of pandemic mitigation / life-science.
